New JavaScript Adventures for the Jaded Perl Hacker
Details
Yanick will take you on a high-speed overview journey
of the JavaScript ecosystem, seen through Perl eyes. From tools
to frameworks to libraries, we'll see what's out there, and how
it maps to more familiar landspaces.
Yanick has been using Perl for, uh, let's go for "a while". Erstwhile member of the core Dancer team, past co-editor of the Perl Weekly, ex-contributor to the Perl Review, he has 103 distributions to his name on CPAN, which is frankly a tad excessive. He works at Infinity Interactive.
NOTE: This is an online event - meeting details will be shared closer to the presentation. Hope to see you there!
