Vancouver and the Lower Mainland is a hotbed for Bitcoin. This workshop series welcomes everyone who is interested in exploring the business of Bitcoin. By generating discussion, the idea is to help further the acceptance of Bitcoin in Metro Vancouver.

Doors open at 6:00pm for the meet and greet. There will be complementary food and drinks We will be covering the basics of what Bitcoin is and how it influences businesses.

Manie Eager - CEO Griffins Ventures

Manie Eagar is an experienced global investment and mergers and acquisitions advisor, and marketing and business development executive with over 30 years of driving new wealth creation, business growth and strategic innovation.

The past two years he has focused on deal shaping and making in the new world of digital value inter-exchange, mobile media delivery platforms and crypto currency futures, inspired by the Bitcoin phenomenon.

He has supported a number of bitcoin startups, growth acceleration, mergers and acquisitions, VC tie-ups and alignment with regulatory compliance in the bitcoin space: Monetas/Open Transactions; Bitcoinaics/Cointrader; and Monetsu (a 500 startups accelerator).

Manie is a Director of the Bitcoin Alliance of Canada, a member of the Bitcoin Foundation and Banff Centre Leadership Development faculty
