Kick-off D.I.D.A.C. meetup - "Introduction to graph analytics using Neo4j"

About the Event :
This is the kick-off D.I.D.A.C. meetup!

The meetup is kindly being hosted by Aviva in their Hatch Street offices located a 1 minute walk from the Harcourt Luas stop.

About the Talk :
The meetup will consist of a presentation, demo and Q&A titled "Introduction to graph analytics using Neo4j".

Graph based solutions are now offering the insurance industry some very powerful data-mining capabilities not previously possible using traditional relational databases.

The presentation and demo will cover the Neo4j graph database and the main features of the Cypher query language and there will be a live demo of using Neo4j to look at some open source data sets.

About the Speaker :
Paul Thomas is a data analytics engineer focusing on graph database technology at Aviva.
