• Clayton Roche, he is the Ambassador for MakerDAO to Thailand also the Head of Decentralized Finance with Mosendo, where they are making digital cash a reality.

• Soravis Srinawakoon is the cofounder and CEO of Band Protocol, a permissionless blockchain protocol for decentralized data curation. The company has raised over $3 million in a seed round led by Sequoia, Dunamu & Partner and SeaX.

สวัสดีครับ ทางเรากำลังจะจัดงาน Meetup เกี่ยวกับเรื่อง DeFi หรือ Decentralized Finance ซึ่งเป็นหัวข้อที่ค่อนข้างพูดถึงมากในวงการ blockchain และคนในวงการส่วนใหญ่มองเห็นภาพเดียวกัน DeFi มีหลายหมวดหมู่แต่หลักคือการสร้างระบบการเงินรวมถึงผลิตภัณฑ์ทางการเงินด้วยวิธีการที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Finance)

งานประจำเดือน ก.พ.จะมี 2 เรื่อง

เรื่องที่ 1 : The Token Behind DeFi MakerDAO's Dai Stablecoin

• จากโครงการที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ DeFi ทั้งหมด MakerDAO เป็นโครงการ (หรือ protocol) ที่มีคนนิยมมากที่สุด โดยนับจากจำนวนโทเคนที่ถูกล็อคในระบบ (หรือวางค่ำประกันเพื่อออกเหรียญ stablecoin ที่ชื่อว่า Dai) จำนวน $600 ล้าน USD ข้อมูลจากต้นปี 2020 เรื่องแรกนี้จะพูดถึงระบบ MakerDAO โดยรวมว่าทำงานอย่างไร

เรื่องที่ 2 : A Decentralized Oracle for DeFi

• DeFi ถูกทำงานบน smart contract บน public blockchain เช่น Ethereum, EOS อย่างไรก็ตามในการทำงานหลายๆ อย่างต้องอาศัยข้อมูลภายนอกโดยเฉพาะโครงการ derivatives หรือ stablecoin (อย่าง MakerDAO's Dai) เรื่องที่สองจะพูดถึงเรื่องความเกี่ยวข้องและความสำคัญระหว่า Oracle และ DeFi protocols ต่างๆ

เราหวังว่าจะจัดงานเป็นประจำทุกเดือนโดยอยากให้คนหลากหลายกลุ่มได้เข้ามาแสดงความคิดเห็น (short talk 20 นาที หรือ lighting talk 5 นาที) ไม่ว่าจะถูกหรือผิด เพื่อที่จะให้นักพัฒนานำไปปรับปรุงระบบ DeFi ที่ตอบสนองแก่ผู้ใช้งานจริงๆ มากที่สุด
