Why Mercado De La Playa?

We have been looking for large venues in the Medellín metro area for our Medellin Guru events.

We have been searching for venues with space for over 200 people with a big food selection. Mercado De La Playa is the best venue we found:

• A large gastronomic market - over 25 restaurants/bars
• Seating for over 800 people on 2 floors with tall tables
• Centrally located, making it easy to get to from many parts of the Medellín metro area

This is a larger venue than for any of our previous events and it has more food options. We haven't yet found a venue large enough for our events in Laureles. Mercado De La Playa is relatively easy to get to from Laureles or El Poblado.

Mercado De La Playa is the newest gastronomic market in Medellín that opened in December 2019 near Teatro Pablo Tobón Uribe.

Food options include Arabic, burgers, desserts, fruits, Italian, Peruvian, Portuguese, pizza, sandwiches, steaks, sushi, Tex-Mex, waffles, wings and more. So, we'll have a big selection of food options available.

This is a large venue for our event with space for over 400 people just on the first floor. And it has high tables making it easier to mingle.

Mercado De La Playa is located less than a block from Teatro Pablo Tobón Uribe. It's located at Calle 51 # 40-35, El Centro, Medellín.

• Legal questions: Joe Bovino from the Cuadro Legal law firm will be there and can answer legal questions.
