Hello friends,

The Anza Loop Trail is one of several hiking trails that hides in plain sight, right next to Highway 101 in Calabasas.

Long before diamond lanes and diesel trucks, the 101 Freeway was part of an historic route used by California’s first European settlers, like Juan Bautista de Anza, who led a Spanish expedition.

It provides nice views of the west San Fernando Valley.

This loop is a mixture of singletrack and dirt road.

• Distance: about 5miles

• Elevation: about 650'

• Duration: about 2 hour

• Dogs are welcome
