Cheeseboro Canyon offers a wide variety of hiking trails.
With many miles of trails, it is possible to do a different route each time.
Head uphill on the exposed Cheeseboro Ridge Trail, which winds its way up the canyon wall.
As you climb, you’ll get views of the rolling terrain of the Simi Hills, the Santa Monica Mountains, and to the east, if the weather is clear, the San Gabriels.
• This Loop is 6.5 to 9miles.
• It's about 1200' elevation gain.
• Hike duration about 3 hours
*Pace: moderate to fast
The group will decide the distance and duration

• Directions: To get to trailhead take 101 and exit Las Virgenes Rd. Turn north (away from beach) to end of road. If you are coming up from PCH, drive up Malibu Canyon to the end (Malibu Cyn changes its name to Las Virgenes Rd). The trailhead is marked clearly. Park on the street. If you can't park near the trailhead, just look for space down the street.
