IN + THROUGH, a 5Rhythms® Waves Workshop

Details
IN + THROUGH is a one-day workshop devoted to the body as life’s gateway for experience and expression. 5Rhythms practice is rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion, it will heal itself. An extended time of dynamic movement deepens embodied inquiry and restoration.
We gather on the Equinox New Moon for a meeting in our entanglements and our becomings. What realities are inviting attention at this time? On the dancing path, the Waves map is a potent container for unraveling into the mystery, embodying freedom and renewal as a space to thrive. The rhythms of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness™ allow us to explore the nature of who we are and how our energy moves in this world.
No prior experience is necessary to attend. All bodies (ages 15+) & levels of experience are welcome!
Structure
This is a ritualized and directed practice with somatic invitations, soundscapes, prompts for solo, partner and group explorations.

About 5Rhythms
Created by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide, 5Rhythms is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor, reaching across all languages, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art, art into awareness, and awareness into action.
Wherever the 5Rhythms are practiced, a community is born to dance, to sweat, to change, to support, and to provide a safe space for each of us to shatter the ego’s hold and awaken the juicy, unpredictable, fascinating, edge-walking part of ourselves that yearns to be free.
Creativity. Connection. Community.
