5Rhythms® is a simple movement practice designed to release the dancer that lives in all of us, regardless of size, shape, age, or ability. All bodies are welcome. No experience needed.

Created by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide, 5Rhythms® is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor to transform suffering into art, art into awareness, and awareness into action.

Wherever the 5Rhythms are practiced, a community is born to dance, to sweat, to change, to support, and to provide a safe space for each of us to shatter the ego’s hold and awaken the juicy, unpredictable, fascinating, edge-walking part of ourselves that yearns to be free.

    Join accredited 5Rhythms® teacher, Sayrah Garrison, for a weekly dose of self care and embodied healing through conscious dance and community connection! This is a virtual class that will enable participants to commit to a weekly dance practice from the comfort of their own home. Regular attendance is encouraged to foster a dedicated self care practice and to nurture a supportive community.

    The 5Rhythms® is a dynamic movement practice designed to get you out of your head and into your body. It is rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion, it will heal itself.

    The 5Rhythms are Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. These rhythms come together to create a wave, which take shape in the form of djayed music. When practiced, these Rhythms allow us to get grounded in our bodies, express our hearts and clear our minds so that our true essence can come forth effortlessly!

    We will move through one full 5Rhythms wave in each online class. Sayrah offers gentle guidance, as she tunes into the collective field. Insights and awarenesses are organically woven into the tapestry of our class as they unfold in the moment.

    Sweat Your Prayers® is a minimally facilitated movement practice through the 5Rhythms®: Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. This is an opportunity to bring our deepest prayers to life through conscious movement, while being in community with others!

    Created by Gabrielle Roth, the 5Rhythms is a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Through the map of the 5Rhythms, we will take a deep dive into our own inner landscape to discover our authentic selves. The only requirement is that you have a curious mind and a desire to explore creativity, connection and community.
