Tsali Weekend Trip!

Hope the weather will be nice and Tsali Campground opens on 4/15! Dust off your camping gear, hammock and mountain bike. 3.5 hour drive from Charlotte so stay for a while.
All skill levels welcome! The bike trail is next to the campground. Tsali trail system is very flowy and well marked. Fire Mountain Bike Park is 30 minutes away in Cherokee, NC. Which is a legit bike park that requires full-face helmet on the Black rated section. We will vote on the route and ride whatever you desire. There will be hammock napping, chilling by the campfire and dinner in town.
$20 per night per campsite, 2 tents, 2 cars max, and bring your own firewood. There is a fire pit, a bench, drinking water, restrooms, and hot showers on site. Bryson City is 15 minutes away with grocery stores, restaurants and breweries.
I started as a beginner and Figure Eight section at WWC was hike-a-bike for me. Alex G. was kind enough to show me how to overcome each type of obstacle. He said if I can ride that section without putting my foot down, I will be ready for Tsali.
That was 9 years ago. There have been many Tsali trips.
Alex G. also said mountain biking and camping go well together. I'm on tent #3 and the hammock napping after a long ride is a tradition.
Bring a Yoga mat if you want to join me for some practice.
