Come experience an exciting expedition along the Great River Road!
IMPORTANT!: PLEASE RSVP TO EACH OF THE 4 STAGES OF THIS EVENT SEPARATELY! RSVP from this page to sign up ONLY for AERIE'S RESORT & WINERY. You must RSVP to the other stages from each of their respective event pages. (Note that each stage has it's own individual attendee limit.)
Also please note that this event has an attendee limit and RSVP deadlne! It is also being cross-posted with the St. Louis Social Club Meetup Group, meaning the actual number of attendees will likely be higher than it appears on this page. (If the attendee limit has been reached from this page, you may opt to sign up through St. Louis Social Club instead, assuming there are still openings available there.) If you are members of both 618&B and STLSC, please only RSVP under ONE group, as signing up under both groups makes it difficult to determine an accurate headcount.
Here is the itinerary...
STAGE #1 - 11:00am-12:00pm:
We'll start the day at the Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower in Hartford, a 150-ft. tall observation tower, which overlooks the point at which the Missouri River empties into the Mississippi, and is built near the site where the famous explorers began their journey through the Northwest.
STAGE #2 - 12:30pm-3:30pm:
Afterwards, we'll travel north along scenic Route 3 (a.k.a. the Great River Road) and reconvene for a lite lunch and drinks at Aerie's Resort & Winery in Grafton. To access Aerie's Terrace, we'll ride a chair lift or gondola up to the patio for more breathtaking views of the river valley below. Book SkyLift tickets in advance online from Aerie's website for $10. (You MUST take a gondola or chair lift to access the winery and restaurant.) Aerie's also offers an Alpine Coaster for the truly adventurous. Coaster tickets are also available for purchase on the website. Once you've had your fill at Aerie's, feel free to explore the shops along Route 3 in Grafton.
STAGE #3 - 3:30pm-5:30pm:
Upon leaving Aerie's, we'll have dinner across the street at the Grafton Oyster Bar, a restaurant and marina which offers great seafood and spectacular riverside scenery.
STAGE #4 - 5:30pm-???:
Finally, we'll head over to The Loading Dock to listen to live music and dance beneath the sunset.
