KY Dam Resort/Patti’s Festival of Lights Overnight Trip

Get ready for a fantastic overnight trip to get you in the holiday spirit! We’ll be heading to KY Dam Village State Resort Park in Gilbertsville, KY for an overnight stay. Check in is at 4:00 pm. From there, we will head over to Patti’s 1880s Settlement in Grand Rivers, KY for a delicious dinner before we step out to their Festival of Lights! If you haven’t been to Patti’s before, you’re in for a treat! The restaurant has a wonderful menu, including their specialty 2 inch thick pork chop with Patti’s Sauce and a huge selection of desserts! Wait until you try their clay flowerpot bread with Strawberry Butter! Once we eat, we’ll stroll through the “village” to see their FREE Christmas display featuring over a million lights showing from dusk until 10 PM. You’ll also see festive decorations on storefronts and throughout their many gift shops. We will then return to the resort to visit in the lobby by the fireplace before heading off to our rooms for some well earned sleep. Checkout the next morning is at 10:00 am so that’s when we’ll be back on the road to head home.
