618 and Beyond

Join us for a fun-filled evening at Defiance Ridge Vineyards for their Summer Concert Series featuring That 80’s Band! Eat, drink, dance, and be merry. If you’ve heard That 80s Band before, you know how awesome they are and what a huge list of Gen-X songs they perform! Then, to cap off the evening, there will be a fireworks show!
Rooted in the rolling hills of Historic Missouri Wine Country, this winery is spread out on a 42 acre property that boasts a vineyard, tranquil lake, and lush garden landscape. Breathtaking views of the sweeping Missouri River Valley are captured year-round from the terraces and veranda surrounding our historic farmhouse.

Doors open at 4pm. The band will play from 6pm to 9pm. Fireworks will begin at 9pm. We have this meetup starting at 5pm but feel free to arrive sooner or later than that time. We’ll try to save a spot for everyone but keep in mind that seating is on a first come, first served basis. **Guests are welcome to bring blankets and folding chairs for the lawn.**
In addition to table service, the winery will have a satellite bar and food concession open for non-table serviced areas. This is going to be so fun!

Let’s get together to see some amazing art! Art on the Square in is a juried fine art show held at the Veterans Memorial Fountain in Belleville, Illinois. Featuring over 100 artists, live music, food vendors, and a wine tent, Art on the Square is a vibrant celebration of art and community.
Art on the Square takes place on the historic Public Square in downtown Belleville, IL at the intersection of Main Street and Illinois around the Veterans Memorial Fountain.
We will first meet at 10:00am at the fountain. I’ll list the exact location of where to meet at the fountain once we arrive that morning.
Please look for the updates I’ll post under the comments section. We will meet for lunch 11:00am at the Cafe on the Square, which is located near the fountain. There will be several restaurants with a wide variety of food selections. Note, the cafe is split into two sections. Let’s meet in front of the food court by the large outdoor clock (See the attached picture.) so everyone knows where we’ll sit once we order our food. There will be a LOT of people at this event so you may get separated from the group. Please either have a “buddy” to stick with so you have a good time or if you’d rather see the art solo, you can check back in with the group when we meet for lunch at 11:00am. Looking forward to seeing all of you there!
