FoldScope Workshop

London BioHackSpace is teaming up with some lovely people from Darigov Research to run a FoldScope workshop where you get to build and take home your own 140x microscope!

It'll run 2 pm until 5 pm. We will have some safe samples of some interesting wiggling biology for you to look at!

We're experimenting with running a donations model. You'll all get an envelope. You have to put something in it but it's up to you how much. The foldscopes costed about £3 each and there'll be at least two of us on hand to help the group figure out how to build and use them along with some of the theory behind microscopes. We're doing this for free. We're hoping you'll become a member of the hackspace if you haven't already or you'll donate money towards the hackspace to ensure its future existence.

In the event of there being more than 30 people we'll share the FoldScopes and organise another delivery.
