Elastic load balancing and auto-scaling

Dear fellow IT geeks,

Amazon AWS is the 800-pound-gorilla among the public cloud providers and they keep pushing the envelope by releasing pretty amazing services and building blocks on a continuous basis.

In the May zhgeeks session we will introduce you to

• elastic load balancers and the
• auto-scaling mechanism

These two infrastructure pieces (and a big fat credit card) are all you need to scale services in startup-like fashion. So come and see how it's done!
