Bittersweet Basket Workshop

A workshop led by our friend and local forager, Zack De La Rouda
"Learn to weave with BITTERSWEET (a frustrating invasive creeper.) I bet you'd recognize this plant! It's abundant and most people don't want it in their yard. Good thing it's killer basket material! We're going to make berry-picking baskets (a good bit bigger than your average blueberry box) with a milkweed-cordage belt so you can tie it around your waist while you pick.
If you aren't into berries you can just make a round basket, like for fruit on the table.
$25 covers tuition and materials. (Beverages not included)

NOTE: there will likely be a limit to 10 participants. I want to make sure I can spend adequate time with each member of the workshop. Fear not!! There will be many more opportunities to learn to make different baskets at UFF!!"
