Inaugural Python Developers Meetup

Next Tuesday, August 18th we'll be holding the first monthly Python Developers Meetup at The eFactory. This will be a great opportunity to meet other local Python developers and enthusiasts and hopefully learn something new!

What to expect

• Networking with other local Python enthusiasts (6-6:30)

• Discuss group mission and vision (6:30-6:45)

• Technical Presentation by a local Python developer (6:45-7:30)

• Optional social hangout after the meeting at a nearby restaurant (7:30-until you're full)

This month's presentation

James Lee Vann has volunteered to present The Zen of Python. In this presentation, James will cover what makes Python Awesome, and other important facts about the Python Programming Language for new Pythonistas/Pythoneers.

James Lee Vann is a Systems Engineer at O'Reilly Automotive. He has experience with multiple programming languages and writes Python daily as his primary choice. He also contributes to various open source projects.

A special thanks goes out to James for volunteering his time and expertise!
