Receiving and Giving, Growing and Changing

At this meetup right before Thanksgiving, we'll explore a variety of topics for spiritual well-being that can help us to make sense of family issues. For example, they say it is better to give than receive, but do you know the difference and what it really means? Or how is receiving different from getting? That one is huge, showing the contrast between a positive and a negative ego! What about the difference between growth and change? One happens automatically in time and space, and the other never happens until it happens, which is why many grown-ups are still children inside while others become spiritual adults. We'll also discuss the latest information Carl has been getting from his guides on the seven kinds of love (the four of the Ancient Greeks plus two more taught by Christ, and one for the New Age), and the choice we each hold for punishing or healing cycles of consciousness (guess which one most of the world demonstrates!) Distinctions like these will become more important as 2012 approaches as well as the holidays.
