History and Thai Dinner - Schloss Wildegg!!

UPDATE 2 (Saturday 15 July): It will be a bit HOT today (32C), so please make sure you are hydrated (drinking water / gatorade etc.), and bring along something to drink - along with a hat and sunglasses. PARKING: I suggest the Parkplatz Wildegg Bahnhof, the spaces at Migros supermarket, or perhaps the empty restaurant (Diaw Thai) that opens at 1730 (530PM) for customers - as we will arrive there about that time from the castle, we should be ok to park there, too. MEETING POINT: Let's meet outside the entrance to the restaurant, Diaw Thai - we will walk slowly up to the castle (10+ minutes) from there.
UPDATE 1 (Friday 14 July): Alas I need to ask for your forgiveness of an oversight on my part - the restaurant is open for dinner from 1730 (530pm), but not for lunch as I had assumed. That is my fault! I changed the event start time - to first explore the castle - to 1500 (3pm), which gives us 2 hours to explore the castle, and then we can walk to our restaurant. I hope that is ok, and my apologies again for the late event edit (job search stuff). Hope to see you there, and thanks for your RSVPs! Brett

Let's see now...
We've been to Reinach, Aarau, Baden, Aarau a 2nd time, and Lenzburg (10 June CL Final event).
We will have had pub drinks and grub, cinema (The Fabelmans), a castle ruins walk, a food fair, and a sports final (the 2023 Champions League) - why not a great castle & museum (with an amazing view) for Round 6?
For those of you who fancy themselves a "history buff," or someone who just wants to see something cool in the area - this is for you.
For a change of pace - I love me a pub, but come on now, something different please - how about some Thai food after our tour of the castle? Two things I love together in one event - history and food!
