Mendenhall Peak (4636)

Details
START TIME: 7AM to 2PM
This is a fairly easy hike since it's mostly in a dirt fire road with gradual ascent and no bushwalking. However, long pants & long sleeve shirt is recommended since Deer Ticks are in this area and will be looking to hitch a ride if the weather warms up. There is an old Heli-Pad & some abandoned structures, possibly a look-out tower. I visited this peak a year ago but did not find a benchmark & am not sure if there's one, but I'll double check on the USGS maps. Bring a small lunch to enjoy the on the summit and to enjoy the view.
