Today there are powerful services you can use to build conversational systems without any programming. However, whether you'd like to run your own or want to better understand existing services it is useful to know how they work under the hood.

In this high level overview of the internals we'll use the open source Rasa conversational AI project to explore the various components that make up a modern conversational system.

No programming experience needed and you'll gain an understanding of how conversational systems work, what is required technically, and what are the challenges and opportunities when you roll up your sleeves and get under the hood.
