5 Cities Networking Lunch

5-Cities Networkers Meetup is a group of small business owners and independent contractors that meet bi-weekly for a Networking lunch. We get together and promote our businesses to each other, and build relationships that lead to business referrals back and forth. The meetings cost $15 and include your lunch (a choice of multiple selections from a reduced menu and a fountain drink) There is no charge to join, and no commitment to attend. The lunches are held on the 1st & 3rd Wed of every month, and are open to any small business or independent contractor that wants to attend, so you are welcome to invite – invite – invite and spread the word! I am finalizing details with a restaurant in the 5 Cities area, and will post an update with the location on meet-up when we have finalized the details for the new location. Meetings are from 11:30 – 1pm and we are respectful of everyone’s time, so here is the meeting format.

11:30- 12:00 Check in, pay for the meeting, select your entree, and open networking

12:00 – 12:05 Announcements and key role introductions

12:05 - 12:25 Networks each give a 30 second commercial promoting their business

12:25 – 12:35 Pass “Best Commercial” voting slips forward (“Best Commercial” winner goes 1st with a 1 minute commercial next meeting) Also pass any referrals (Original to recipient – Yellow copy forward for drawing)

12:25 – 12:35 Question & Answers Session (While referrals and commercial votes are passed) Example: Tom, you said you are a plumber. Do you do both residential and commercial properties? Then Tom would give a 1-2 sentence answer.

12:35 – 12:40 First 5 Minute Market Showcase- One networker gets to stand up and spend 5 minutes talking about his/her business, including their niche and ideal customer or power referral partner. (The networker is drawn from the referrals from the previous meeting)

12:40-12:45 Second 5 Minute Market Showcase

12:45 – 12:50 Announce “Best Commercial Winner” they get to go first with 1 Full minute next meeting, then draw from referrals for:

1- 5 Minute Market Showcase for next meeting

2- 5 Minute Market Showcase for next meeting

3- Entry display table for next meeting

4- Table top literature for next meeting

12:50 – 1PM wrap up meeting.
