Zhengwei Li (Eloise) presents another workshop about creating your own works following age-old Chinese traditions. Painting flowers has a long and rich tradition in China, conveying an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity, while goldfish are auspicious symbols of happiness. Eloise will demonstrate more methods and ideas on how to capture these moods and moments, and appreciate the unique beauty and diversity of chinese painting.

Materials you will need for your work:
• Small jar with water • Chinese ink (if not available, can be replaced by normal ink) and a small container • Soft watercolour brushes (wool if possible) • Chinese painting rice paper / Japanese paper • Newspapers to protect table.
