NWA Tech: Women Empowered; Culture Enabled

Details
Hello Northwest Arkansas!
Walmart, Tyson, JBHunt, Infosys, IBM, RevUnit, Bentonville Chamber of Commerce, and other local organizations are coming together to establish a community of female technical professionals in NWA! Whether you are a student or current in-industry professional, we would love for you to be in attendance; male allies are also welcome!
At 3pm, check-in will begin; giving attendees 30 minutes to get settled, grab some food (yes, this free event will be catered!!!), and pick a seat before we get started. At 3:30pm we will kick-off a panel discussion with speakers from different backgrounds and experience levels (see speaker list below), who will talk about their experiences as a female in technology, challenges they faced along the way, how they overcame them, and how they and their company's foster inclusion in the workplace. After this, we will open back up for about another 45 minutes of networking, where attendees will be encouraged to connect with the panelists and other attendees to establish meaningful relationships in this group.
Going forward: After establishing this community via this event, we want to hear from you! - [What you'd like to gain from this community (mentorship, technical knowledge/training), technical topics you'd like learn about, etc.]
Speaker List:
- Faye Olson (Walmart)
- Michael Paladino (RevUnit)
- Mariels Winhoffer (IBM)
- Mandy Robinson (JBHunt)
- Enia Sampaio (Infosys)
- Eva Ouma (Tyson)
