Three Days to the AppStore
3-day intensive iOS iPhone & iPad programming course
What you'll need to bring:
- an Intel-based Apple laptop computer, ie: Macbook, Macbook Pro
- Xcode 4 and the iPhone SDK 4.3 installed on your Macbook. (Upon registration, you’ll be emailed instructions on how and where to get it and installing it. The easy stuff!)
- familiarity with your Macbook, such as Finder and Preview
- basic programming knowledge on object-oriented programming and C would help. A keen eagerness to learn iOS programming is also useful!
- an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is OPTIONAL. You can use the iPhone / iPad simulator which comes with Xcode, but it just does not match the satisfaction of seeing your apps on a device.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Satisfaction guarantee:
If by the end of the first day, you figure out that this course is not for you, let your instructor know. You will be refunded in full. In this case, all course materials will need to remain with the instructor.
All our instructors are seasoned in iOS and have apps in the App Store. They will share their real-world experience in everything from debugging to marketing.
Instructor for this course will be: Tony Secondo. Tony has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, specifically programming and project management. Programming iOS for a little over two years and teaching it for about seven months, Tony has worked on several apps for corporations and for himself. Tony's latest app on the App Store is Kiaro inTouch.
NOTE: In the event that there are less than five participants, this course may be cancelled. All paid participants will be fully refunded for the course cost only. If you are travelling from afar and have made travel arrangements, please ensure that you can get refunded from your provider.
Past participant comments:
“This is the most thorough iOS course around. It concentrates on the essentials but gives you a broad understanding of just about every aspect of iOS. I wasted so much time reading and learning on my own and fiddling with code until it worked. During this course, I realized how little I really understood. This course is worth every penny.” D. Larocque, PlasmaDL
“Wow! All this in 3 days.” Jim A.
Each day runs from 9AM to 6PM with a 1-hour lunch break at about 12PM.
