Join us for a 20-min loving-kindness (metta bhavana) meditation followed by a relaxing 2/3 hour walk in Hampstead Heath.

Meditation

The metta bhavana meditation is a great opportunity to foster a mental state of kindness, love, and compassion which in time minimizes negative emotions towards yourself and others.

The meditation will be on the grass so if you don't want to sit on the grass make sure to bring something that you can sit on (ie. plastic bag, towel, blanket).

Walk

There will be a circular walk in Hampstead Heath that should not take more than 3 hours in total. The walk is a great way to form stronger bonds with like-minded people who have similar interests.

To Note

  • Meeting point: 1.30 pm in front of the Parliament Hill Café

  • To bring: blanket for meditation (optional), water, snacks

  • To wear: good walking shoes, comfortable clothes, a sweater in case it gets cold (esp. during the meditation)

  • Cost: FREE
