London Audio Programmer Meetup
Details
Welcome to the Audio Programmer London Meetup - a meetup for all audio dev enthusiasts!
We invite you to join our community, whether you are a software developer, student, artist, or just generally interested in finding out more about audio technology.
Space is limited -- RSVP today!
Guest: Dave Rowland (Tracktion) - “Real-time Tradeoffs”
Abstract: Writing real-time applications can be tricky, usually you obtain real-time guarantees by making sacrifices elsewhere and the costs paid can be subtle.
We’ll take a look at a concrete example of making an existing mechanism real-time safe and what decisions need to made along the way.
Spoiler - there won’t be a right answer but there will be lots of questions!
We host monthly presentations from those looking to share their discoveries in music tech and software development. Some example topics include:
Exploring cutting edge technologies for audio development
Best practices for real-time programming
Music information retrieval
Game audio
Spatialization
and more!
We will also feature the latest news along with the tip of the month for becoming a better audio developer!
