This is a new pipeline and the first cross county crude pipeline to be installed in New Jersey. As such it is news worthy and an event typically never covered by mainstream media.

While this is a niche topic, this will be an easy introduction to the process of reporting the news. So if you have the time, take a camera and come out. Sometime you'll see local community sparks fly as a local issue hits a nerve of someone who is upset about it. That is the news after all.

The NJ Sierra Club is working with Princeton Hydro to conduct an environmental analysis of Pilgrim’s impacts to water quality in an effort to fight various NJDEP permits required for approval. NJ Sierra Club Together with Princeton Hydro, we will be giving a free public presentation outlining the study, our efforts to stop the pipeline, and how the public can get involved.
