OVERVIEW :
In an exclusive Scale Jakarta meetup, with our special host, Xendit, Khalil Ambiya, Lead Software Engineer from Xendit, will present "Scalable Properties of Production-Ready Microservices" , also Kenneth Shaw, CTO from Brankas, will present "Building a Search Engine for Fun and Profit".

The presentations will begin promptly at 7:00pm, and will end at roughly 8:45pm. There will be a short question and answer period after each presentation. Doors open at 6:30pm. Please come on time, before 7:00pm!

ABOUT SPEAKERS AND PRESENTATIONS :

Khalil Ambiya, a Lead Software Engineer from Xendit, will present about Scalable Properties of Production-Ready Microservices, in which he will explain how scalability will be addressed on loosely coupled services, and what are the questions that we should ask when we're building a scalable microservices.
Khalil has previously worked at PT. Timedoor Indonesia as Backend Developer and currently working in Xendit as a lead software engineer since 2017.
He holds his Bachelor of Science from Institute Teknologi Bandung.
Presentation will be in Bahasa Indonesia.

Kenneth Shaw, CTO from Brankas, will present about building a search engine for fun and profit.
Ken has spent the last 15 years building highly scalable payment and transaction systems using a variety of programming languages and frameworks. Ken is the author of a number of popular Go Packages (chromedp, xo, and usql), and has been actively programming in Go since late 2012. Presented in English.
