Let's get a little uncomfortable together as we discuss the role of imposter syndrome in our professional lives! Most of us have probably heard this phrase tossed out when someone expresses anxiety or has an interview coming up, but what does Imposter Syndrome actually mean?

Imposter syndrome isn't just a catch all phrase for feelings of insecurity and uncertainty. It is a real struggle that can impact our ability to learn, our professional interactions, and our general wellbeing. Kathryn Jones is going to lead us as we dive deep into what imposter syndrome really is, how it manifests in professional settings, and what we can do about it.

About the Speaker

Having a background in social work, Kathryn spent several years facilitating psychoeducational skill group sessions while working in behavioral health settings. Kathryn transitioned her career into the tech space where she currently works as an Application Software Developer for Centene, an Android Developer for Takoda, and a TA for LaunchCode's CoderGirl.
