To make our meetings more accessible to folks who cannot physically travel to our meetings, we can use Skype conference call / textchat during the meeting.

Location & Accessibility:

  • Address: Vancity South Burnaby Community Branch
    5064 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC

  • We meet in the Community Stage room. It is on the first floor.

  • The gender neutral washroom is also wheelchair accessible.

  • Between the meeting room and the washroom is a small space with a sink, which can be used at any time if you need a quiet break.

  • Please avoid using scented products (including perfume, cologne, scented soaps and shampoos) before coming to the meeting. The meeting is a scent-reduced space.

  • Please do not bring foods with common allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, and fish. The meeting is an allergen-reduced space.

  • Do bring stim toys and other items that will improve your comfort during the meeting!

  • Let us know if you plan to bring a service animal or support person.

Directions:

The nearest SkyTrain Stations are Royal Oak and Metrotown.

  • From Royal Oak Station, it is a 10 minute walk.
  • From Metrotown station, you can take the 119 bus down Kingsway, stopping in front of Vancity at Marlborough Ave.

Do not use the underground parking; it is for Vancity members only. There is parking along nearby streets.

NOTE: The meeting is at the Kingsway Branch, not the one on Royal Oak.
