Pyramid Lake Tailgate Talk
January 19th, 10:30am- 3pm

The months of January and February are prime time for Pyramid Lake, a high desert mountain lake that's 45 minutes north of Reno, Nevada. Lahontan Cutthroat trout average 4-6 pounds with 10 pounders caught regularly.

California Fly Shop Pro Staffer Victor Inouye will teach you about gear and techniques you'll need for the Pyramid Lake Buddyfish on February 16th and 17th. Come learn about Pyramid Lake, Lahontan Cutthroats, and how to catch these big native fish with a fly rod!

The Tailgate Talk begins at 10:30 AM sharp and is FREE.

Pyramid Lake Two-Day Buddyfish
February 16th & 17th (I don't know price or additional arrangements)

After the Tailgate Talk, come fish for Pyramid Lake's Lahontan Cutthroat trout with us! Put the tips and techniques you learned to the test.

Pyramid Lake is a great place to fish with a group. It's social fishing - you'll be with Victor from the California Fly Shop and will likely make a new fishing buddy or two.

To participate, get a hotel for the night of the 16th and/or 17th in the Reno or Sparks area. Pyramid Lake is a 45 minute to 1 hour drive from there. We will meet at Pyramid Lake (exact location is TBD) at 9:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
