This time let's do this British classic and have an afternoon tea together as our urban adventure. I bought some vouchers for the Le Meridien Champagne Afternoon Tea. UK Tea council's website describes this tea as... "...delicious full English Afternoon Tea offers a glass of Mumm Champagne, a selection of finger sandwiches, including cucumber and cream cheese, egg mayonnaise and Scottish smoked salmon followed with warm home made scones served with strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream and a selection of French pastries. Your choice of tea from the excellent and carefully chosen tea menu accompanies this afternoon tea." Located in Piccadilly, Le Meridien is very central and easy to reach. Because these are prepaid vouchers, you need to make the payment to be able to RSVP. Unfortunately once you make the payment it will not be possible to cancel and get a refund but you can send a friend if you cannot make it on the day.
