Greco Roman Wrestling with the former Romanian National Greco Team Coach

Take a Greco Roman Wrestling class with Nick Catana the former Romanian National Greco Team Coach and the current New York Athletic Club Greco Coach. Starting Oct 22nd. classes will be 1 hour long at 3 pm every Saturday.

Many have proclaimed that Greco Roman Wrestling is the best base for mixed martial arts, whether that is true or not, the fact remains that an exceedingly large number of champions and top competitors of MMA come from a Greco Roman background such as Randy Couture, Dan Henderson, Jon Jones, Cain Velasquez, Chael Sonnen and the list goes on and on.

Coach Nick has coached all levels from Olympic athletes to beginners. In addition to being a great coach, Nick is a great role model. Coach Nick spends some of his time improving the lives of the youths of New York City by coaching at the non profit organization Beat the Streets Wrestling. Beat the Streets Wrestling is a volunteer-run program that began in New York City as a safe haven for at-risk public school students.
