July Nashville Blockchain Meetup - MUSIC

Blockchain and DLT has the potential to change the way music is sold and consumed. Over time, new technical and business models will affect how rights holders (labels, producers, musicians, other artists) interact with each other and with fans.

At our July meetup we will meet some of the innovators who are introducing blockchain to the music industry in Music City. This meetup will include a presentation from UJO Music (www.ujomusic.com), a platform that uses blockchain technology to create a transparent and decentralized database of rights and rights owners, automating royalty payments using smart contracts and cryptocurrency.

We will follow up the presentation with a panel discussion including leaders from Nashville's music industry.
