International Cooking & Dinner Party

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other expats, world travelers, and diversity artistes to share our favorite foods and beverages. We have room for 100+ people so please invite more multicultural adventurers too!

We encourage those who love to cook to bring your ingredients and join others in preparing your food in our large kitchen area. We have 2 refrigerators, 2 stoves, 2 ovens, a microwave and lots of counter space so we should have most everything you need for preparing and serving.

Of course you're welcome to bring a prepared or purchased dish too. Please also bring a favorite beverage to share; wine and beer are OK but please use responsibly. Ice will be provided.

We'll be going green and using real dishes so just 5 minutes of kitchen duty from each guest will be a great help so the organizers can have some fun too. We greatly appreciate those who can arrive early or stay late to help with set-up and clean-up too!

Please bring your favorite dance party music and we can hook your music player or smart phone into our sound system. We have many board and party games on hand and a Ping-Pong table too.

Those who'd like to cook here, help with cooking, or assist with set-up may arrive at 6:00 PM. If you come early, expect to be put to work! Those that are bringing dishes should plan to arrive around 6:30 PM. We'll eat about 7:00 PM. All helping hands are welcome! $5 per person requested to help cover our expenses for space rental and supplies. You can pay in advance using PayPal or pay at the door with cash or check. Because we will be sharing wine and beer, this event is open to adults only. RSVPs via this Meetup event are greatly appreciated but not required. "Maybe" RSVPs are OK too. The parking lot is very small so on-street parking and a short walk will be required for most. Please be respectful of our residential neighbors and keep the noise levels low when coming & going.
