Cuban Film Festival: Casa Vieja

Let's meet for happy hour at the Aster Cafe (http://aster-cafe.com/) in the mall, then down the hall at the theater lobby at 6:45 PM for one of six movies of the Cuban Film festival!

"Casa Vieja (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1838485/)," Old House, by Lester Hamlet (2010). ALBA opener (2012; Belgium). Stunning and timely version of a classic Cuban play. An expatriate returns to his family home and his dying father; old conflicts emerge against the backdrop of his long absence. Begins promptly at 7 p.m.
