Northern Sheild Pipe Ceremony

Hello Everyone, Once again the Wheel has turned and we are making our journey through the season of Winter. The Time of the North is upon us and I am offering another Pipe Ceremony to honor the journey. Please join me if you feel called. Lolomai, Rev. Elena SingingOtter Northern Shield Pipe Ceremony: This traditional Native American Pipe Ceremony honors the Time of Conception, The Keepers of Oha, the Stone, Bone and Seed of the Self. Our ancestors hunkered down for the long winter’s sleep and dreamt themselves into being. This is an opportunity to return to the Kiva once again, to sit within the Womb of the Earth Mother, and hold ourselves in sacredness during this season of visions and dreams. We will hold the corn seeds and pray for the gifts we wish to grow within ourselves calling to Mountain Lion to bring us the dreams of Truth. Please bring a donation for the use of the space, an offering for the altar, and a snack to share. This ceremony is open to older children and adults. It could last 1 ½ hrs depending on attendance. Smoke will be present from sage, copal and tobacco, if you are adversely affected by smoke please join us in spirit only. We will gather at 7:00pm and the ceremony will begin at 7:15 or shortly after. Once it begins the circle will be closed.
