'Train for Backpacking' Hike in the Hills of Crystal Cove

Summertime backpacking trips are just around the corner and Crystal Cove is a good place to start getting our legs ready. Join me for a 6 mile saunter along Morrow Canyon, Rattlesnake, Ticketron and No Name trails. Bring your poles and weighted backpack if you'd like. We'll take it easy, averaging about a 2mph pace - slower on the uphills. Non-backpackers are also welcome.

Meet at 8am at the lower parking lot, Morrow Canyon Trailhead.

On the day before or morning of the hike, please check the park website to confirm trails are open www.crystalcovestatepark.org. If closed (usually due to rain), the event will be cancelled.
