The San Diego Philosophy Forum is pleased to announce that Rev. John J. Bombaro, USD Professor of Philosophy, will speak on "The Kantian Divide."

This event, open to the public, will take place 6:30-8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 22 at the North University Public Library: 8820 Judicial Dr. (near the 805 highway's Nobel Exit); Lib. ph. (858) 581-9637.

Rev. John J. Bombaro, PhD. is a faculty member in the Theology and Religious Studies Department at the University of San Diego, where he teaches courses such as "Christianity and Its Practice." In addition to his theological and philosophy training, he has a degree in chemistry, and has undertaken ministerial and academic training at Rutgers, Edinburgh, London, and Cambridge. He earned his Ph.D., at King's College, University of London.

In addition to his duties at USD, Dr. Bombaro serves as the senior pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, San Diego, and is a USN chaplain serving the USMC in a reservist capacity. He is a frequent contributor to "Modern Reformation," a bi-monthly magazine dealing with theology, apologetics and cultural issues, and his most recent work is Jonathan Edwards's Vision of Reality (Eugene: Pickwick, 2012).

John & Melinda Bombaro are blessed with four children and spend their leisure time cleaning up after the kids.
