How To Increase Profits In Your Buy-And-Hold Portfolio Using Covered Call Writing

Covered call writing is a low-risk conservative strategy that is geared to retail investors with the goals of generating monthly cash flow and capital preservation. In this presentation, Dr. Alan Ellman will show how we can use this investment approach in our long-term portfolios to enhance returns while still promoting capital preservation. The first half of the seminar will be an overview of the basic and advanced principles of covered call writing. In the second part, Alan will demonstrate how selling stock options can be leveraged to increase our annual returns in our long-term portfolios. Examples will be shown for such stocks as American Express and Home Depot but the strategy can be applied to most securities.
