Central Texas PaperbackSwap Meetup & Swap

Most of you know the drill, but we have some new folks, so here's it is:

Bring books that need a new home. Take books that want to come home with you. Eat good food at Central Market Cafe. Have great conversation ranging from books to anything else you can think of.

If you're looking for a particular book or books, post it to your RSVP in case someone has it on their bookshelf and might bring it with them especially for you.

We're not real regimented - the books are all thrown on the table(s), we all look them over, if we have a question we ask it and whoever brought the book can answer (and anyone else who read it might jump in, as well). First come first served is the order of the day - so don't be late! The swap usually takes about an hour, and by 7:00 most are leaving.

Since some of us have to drive a distance (I myself drive an hour each way to attend), and anything less than 4 attendees makes for a not-so-great swap, if we have fewer than four Yes RSVP's we will cancel. This also means if you RSVP Yes, please take it seriously and show up.

We will be at Central Market Cafe, but we might be downstairs, we might be upstairs, we might be outside - it all depends on how busy it is and where there's a large enough table or tables when I get there. Look for a table with a bunch of books on it (I usually bring 9 or 10 to get things started and as more people come, the stack can get pretty big) and the Meetup sign. If you get lost, call me at 423-6466 and I'll let you know where we are.
