Imagine walking down the design quarter of Ravenswood with a warm cup of coffee in hand, the Autumn breeze whirling by, and multiple furniture and design stores to discover. Sound like a great way to spend a few hours over the weekend? Well, then join the party. On October 29th, I'd like to organize a Chicago Design Meetup to visit a few stores in the Ravenswood area from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The itinerary is included below, and the stores vary from antique or vintage pieces, to large decorative pieces, to creative stationary - whether it be in small shops or a large discount warehouse. I think it would be a fun way to unwind, or scope out that item you've been meaning to get - you might even score a great deal too. We'll be moving as a group from shop to shop. Hope to see you there, and feel free to suggest any other stores in the area if I'm missing one!
