The W.A Folk Federation has agreed to take on organization of a long standing folk club in Western Australia, the Wanneroo Folk Club. The performances start at 8pm at the Dorchester Community Centre, Cnr Dorchester & Dugdale Streets,Warwick and entry is $10, $8 concession to W.A Folk Federation members. Performances - The Wanneroo Folk Club operates once a month. Suggestions for performances are welcome and members who are musicians and singers are encouraged to offer to perform songs.
Organiser - The organiser is John Ralph who organises a main act for the night and arranges future lineups.
Venue - The Dorchester Community Centre supports a more intimate appreciation of folk music.
Transport - Ample free parking is available around the venue.
Performances of the Wanneroo Folk Club happen between 8pm to 11pm.
Come along and enjoy listening to folk music by some of Perths best folk artists, meet people with a shared interest in folk and roots music or if you are a musician or singer, come and play a few songs for the audience. Everyone is welcome - Show your support for folk music by participating as part of the audience or share your music passion by performing a song or two.
