This competition will last about 2 hours. We will be using Robocode (http://robocode.sourceforge.net/). All bots must be MiniBots or smaller ( http://robowiki.net/wiki/Code_size , http://robowiki.net/wiki/Code_Size_(utility) ). You are free to download Robocode, build a robot of your own (or steal one from the interwebs), and bring it to the competition. Please make sure your bot package is your name or handle. If you don’t work on your robot before the competition, it will be an uphill battle to be competitive. Each competitor should bring a laptop on which to code their robot and email it to a public email address. Competitors will have 1.5 hours to finalize and test their robots (and eat the free food). During the code session, competitors may test their solutions against one another only if both parties agree. Before the close of the code session, competitors must email their final solution to the address given at the beginning of the competition. No changes can be made to any solution once the code session is over. The competition will consist of head-to-head challenges in a bracketed single-elimination tournament. The seed is determined by the qualification score. All competitions will be run on the moderator’s computer.
