As you will have noticed - some things look a little different around here now! Wake up in your dreams has now become 'The Lucid Experience'!

'The Lucid Experience' is brought to you by the organisers of the hugely successful recent 2-day interactive conference - 'Gateways of the Mind'. Its our aim to combine the best elements of that event to provide you with transformational meetups, workshops & retreats that will build on the excellent work done by our good friend Dr Rory MacSweeney through Wake up in your dreams.

Essentially many things will stay the same with this group in that we will continue to push the boundaries of our understandings of consciousness and reality through exploring the ideas and concepts of lucid dreaming, OBE's, Astral Projection, Remote Viewing and other related themes.

'The Lucid Experience' will go one step further though and encourage us all to experience both our waking and dreaming states and anything in between (!) through adopting a mindful and aware state of being at all times. Through doing this we can all being to our lives more lucidly in every sense.

So - to kick things off we are very pleased and proud to announce the first of upcoming events - an evening talk and a one-day follow up workshop with the wonderful Nick Barrett - practitioner and author of the recently self-published 'Spirit Guided Lucid Dreaming'!

Evening talk by Nick Barrett - author of 'Spirit Guided Lucid Dreaming'

Many of us now becoming accustomed to the possibility that our dreams, specifically when we are lucid, can open an inter-dimensional doorway into the unseen worlds where anything is possible. You will embark on this journey in a introductory talk with Nick Barrett, as he explains that metaphysical companionship, AKA 'Spirit Guided Lucid Dreaming', is more than a possibility through Lucid Dreaming.

Through the ages these beings have been called many things like, Angels, Spirit Guides and Animal Spirits. You will peer into the world of spirit and see its unique correlation to lucid dreaming. Once you discover your Spirit family, among countless other benefits, they may:

escort you to the higher realms of consciousness help you face your deepest fears overcome any emotional difficulty and train you for any desired skill They can also demonstrate the essence of divine intervention and assist you in tearing down the illusory walls of dream and wake.

In this 2 hour talk Nick will introduce all of the above ideas based on his own personal experiences and practices. There will also be some audience participation through a guided short meditation and a Q&A session where you can put your own personal questions to Nick.

As a follow-up to this interesting evening talk Nick will also be hosting a full one-day workshop on the following day (Saturday 2nd March) where he will go into all of his ideas, techniques and philosophies in much more detail. About the seminar leader

Nick Barrett is the author of eBooks, 'Spirit Guided Lucid Dreaming' and the 'Dreamscape series one', along with being the blog author for the 'Alwayz Lucid' website and creator of fictitious cartoon character, 'Dr. Lucid.' Nick is also a trained Medical Qigong practitioner levels, 1-3.

Some mysterious force always guided the author's journey from when he was a child, what that 'force' was exactly, he wasn't sure! He then made it his prime objective to find out the answers through his lucid dreams and then located and sealed the bond with his spirit guide. He confides in his guide regularly, in times of need, to access higher states of awareness and to seek new ancient wisdom. Throughout all that he writes and what is shared, his guide is forever by his side advising him along the way.

Nick now dedicates his full time, in sharing with others to help raise global consciousness, and provides insight into the true nature in spiritual companionship and lucid dreaming. Nick is also working on a children's book project for 5-9 year olds, which is aimed towards bringing more awareness to the art of lucid dreaming for future generations to come.
