Ballard Seafood Festival: Dinner, Drinks, Django @ Station 18
Details
First evening of the Ballard Seafood festival kicking off at Station 18, on the corner of Russell and NW Market in Ballard.
A little about Station 18: It's the old Ballard Firehouse located just South of Market street on Russell Ave NW. The new owner has really turned it into a swank upscale restaurant with GREAT food and without the upscale restaurant price (see website - my fav is the rockfish tacos).
About the band - Django Junction is an acoustic jazz combo featuring Gypsy-style jazz, made famous by the late/great Djanjo Reinhardt. Featuring vocalist Esther Jang, Two guitarists (Alex Lew and Ruben Raychaudhuri), violin (Tim Wetmiller), bass (Pat Ferris). There will be three sets starting at 7pm.
There is NO COVER CHARGE. I'd love to see you guys/gals that can make it down. I'll be in the band. Depending on how many sign up, I may be able to reserve a table in the music dining area.
