If we started in Pasadena the first 40 minutes would be freeway East - so just jam out there at your own pace and register to get your route sheet and ride pin. Ride home afterwards (2hrs back to LA) or reserve a room near Escondido and enjoy your stay: La Jolla, San Diego, Sea World...

For over 70 years now, the Pasadena Motorcycle Club has been hosting the infamous GREENHORN ride. It was a world famous enduro for 30yrs... And NOW, it's a road tour that anyone on 2 wheels can enjoy. Lots of riders look forward to this annual event, most reserve a hotel near the finish and make a weekend of it.

The club puts A LOT of effort into the route and planning of the ride every year and the route is kept secret until the morning registration begins. Everyone that signs up gets a carefully laid out route sheet and a ride pin. You can ride alone at your own pace or with a group. We set up checkpoints along the way where you stop and are dealt a poker hand. Winner for high hand and low hand are rewarded, and we pay out a cash prize to the winner of our 50/50 drawing.

It's an AMA sanctioned ride so we know you'll enjoy it. Save the date! It starts in a Chino so that we can have you jump right into the course of scenic backroads and canyons without delay. This year the ride ends in Escondido. Let's go!

The minimum donation to ride this fine event is just $15, but the more money you raise, the more premiums you earn.

More FUN with much less drama than those "OTHER GUYS" ... You know who you are (their name is almost like ours)!

This ride is for "plated" (street-licensed) motorcycles. ALL Riders will need to have a current "M1" street-licensed M/C operator's endorsement on their valid driver's license. In addition, all riders must have current California liability insurance corresponding to the specific motorcycle they are riding on this run.
