Aave
Stani Kulechov, Founder & CEO

The best-known software to date is the Aave protocol, an open-source, decentralized, non-custodial liquidity protocol that allows users to supply and borrow cryptoassets and earn yield on those assets. Stani was studying law at the University of Helsinki when he first got into Ethereum, and he started exploring how smart contracts could impact the traditional financial system.
Qredo
Benjamin Whitby, Compliance
Ben Whitby grew up coding and exploring computers, and then went on to build the world's first interest rate swap trading platform in 2001. He later led regulatory teams at Accenture and PwC, playing a key role for Dodd Frank in the UK, before spending 8 years with HSBC as Regulatory Conduct and Financial Crime Specialist — a role that involved writing the bank’s first policy on Bitcoin in 2013. Eventually in 2017 he went into crypto full time, and joined the Tokencard / Monolith team before becoming a founding team member of Qredo, the decentralised MPC security network that enables financial institutions to secure cryptoassets on their own balance sheet.
