Little Italy Mercato

Details

Need some fresh veggies or some freshly baked bread? How about some lovely flowers or a delicious crepe? Then you want to go to the Little Italy Farmers Market (Mercato) on Saturday mornings. There are always local vendors with amazing things to taste and buy. And as you may have realized our four-footed family members are welcome, so are children.

A couple things to note here, parking can be difficult and the parking lot's cost around $10. Street parking can be free if you find some. Our dogs are welcome, but there aren't doggy bowls out and such, so you may want to bring along some water for them and doggie bags. There are always many dogs present in all sizes, so please make sure your dog is in a mood to meet and greet many people and/or dogs.

There are also many cafes to choose from on India Street if you want to just take a break and watch the world go by. There are public park areas too, so you can do some shopping and have a picnic right there. The Mercato is open from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm, but the hours can change due to the season, other events or weather. Here is their website so you can always check on their latest news: Little Italy Mercato (https://www.littleitalysd.com/mercato/)

You can also sign up for their free email newsletter, they always let you know whats fresh in the market that week.
